We are so excited to officially launch our discipleship journey in 2024. This intentional series of events and programs will allow us to better grow the members of our church from kindergarten through adults. The funds raised for the discipleship journey will allow us to launch 3 new programs that will deepen the faith of our church next year.

YOUTH CAMPS

GIVE GOAL: $40K

At Home Church, we have a value of investing in the future because over 90% of Americans become Christians before the age of 18. One of the pivotal places that we see life change happen in students are at overnight retreats. In 2024 we plan to offer 2 overnight retreats for our middle and high school students. In order to provide these spaces for students, adults at our church volunteer their weekends and PTO to serve. The funds raised this year will allow us to cover the cost of our small group leaders and pay for transportation for summer camp.

LEGACY CHURCH

GIVE GOAL: $15K

Jason & Ashley Kimbrow have been in ministry together since 2003. In the span of nearly 20 years, they have been college pastors, executive student pastors, executive pastors, campus pastors, and have served in almost every area of the local church. As pastors, they are committed to loving others, fostering authentic community and relationships, and providing an environment where everyone can experience God. They value Bible-based teaching and an atmosphere of freedom in worship. They are passionate about helping others to see their potential as Christians and consider it a responsibility and privilege to raise up leaders for Christ. Jason & Ashley will be launching Legacy Church in Northwest Arkansas in January 2024.

SCHOOL OUTREACH

GIVE GOAL: $15K

Each year, we have the privilege to partner with Title I schools in our community. Over the last 2 years, we have been able to provide backpacks, breakfast for teachers, paint classrooms around the school, and provide snacks for students, families, and staff at Vickery Mill Elementary.  As we continue these programs at Vickery Mill, we will additionally be launching a mentorship program with upper elementary students. As part of our “go” goals, you will have the opportunity to be a mentor to a student this next year!

This year we are seeking to expand our outreach efforts to another Title I school in our community. These funds will allow us to say yes to needs at two Title I schools in 2024.

LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS

Throughout Roswell are great nonprofit organizations supporting the needs of families in our community. This year we will be partnering with the following through your giving:

HOMESTRETCH

HomeStretch guides working homeless families toward permanent housing and lasting stability. This organization helps families achieve stable finances, stable employment, stable families, and stable housing.

ROSWELL FCA

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) are a community working to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.

MOTHERS ADVOCACY PROJECT

Mothers Advocacy Project (MAP) works to support families with evidence-based, trauma-informed interventions, creating long-term stability and advocating for healthy families, one mom at a time. Their unique program is designed specifically for families who are at risk of, or have current involvement with, the Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) due to harsh life experiences.

RISE UP!

RISE UP! is a free after-school character development program for elementary aged children held in local public schools with the purpose of teaching students how to apply relevant Biblical truths in their everyday lives. RISE UP! provides a creative, fun and memorable environment for kids to hear about God's amazing love for them.

“HOOTIE’S HOLIDAY FEAST” & “BACK 2 SCHOOL BASH”

For the last 2 years, we have hosted 2 significant outreach events in our community. At these 2 events we are able to provide haircuts for the school year, a fun last day of summer for families, winter jackets for kids, groceries for the holidays, and Christmas presents for every child at Vickery Mill Elementary. Your generosity will allow us to continue these programs that serve over 1000 kids in our community in 2024.

FOR DAY

GO GOAL: DONATE 2500 DRY GOODS

For too long the church has been known by what it's against. At Home Church Roswell, we want to be known by what we are FOR. FOR Days are an opportunity for our church to love and serve our community. Every month, on the 3rd Sunday, we take a pause from our normal worship gatherings and worship through serving.

We have the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus by meeting the practical needs of our community. As part of our Heart for the House campaign this year, we aim to collect 2500  dry goods for our monthly community market.

MISSIONS

GIVE GOAL: $60K

We believe that the call of the Gospel not only commands us to reach our city, but it also instructs us to take the Gospel to the least and the lost all over the world. In 2024 we plan to support 6 missions organizations across the globe. The funds raised for missions in Heart for the House will allow us to support each organization financially, cover the cost of all of our trip leaders, vet and build relationships for future trips, and send 3 teams to serve this summer.

Our international missions partners will be located in Lebanon, Peru, and Zambia. We will also be sending teams to work locally with children diagnosed with cancer and children born with a disability.
