Jesus makes a statement to his followers in John 20:21 —
AS THE FATHER HAS SENT ME, I AM SENDING YOU
This statement ultimately leads us to two responses:
We examine and remember how the Father sent Jesus
We follow his example as we are sent out into our community
For God so loved the world He sent His son
For God so loved Roswell He is sending us

Join us this Good Friday as we celebrate a Seder meal together!
What do the Jewish Passover and Jesus’ Last Supper have in common? This Good Friday, Home Church and Light of Messiah Ministries will answer that question as they present “Jesus in the Passover." The “Jesus in the Passover” service will bring to life the Jewish roots of faith in Jesus as well as the celebration of Communion. We will have a Passover table set up with all of the traditional elements involved in the Passover meal.
During the service you will see how Jewish people celebrate Passover today, how the symbolic foods of Passover picture God’s redemption, and how Jesus is beautifully foreshadowed in the Passover celebration and story.
The Passover Seder is not a full meal, but a ceremonial meal including:
wine (grape juice)
veggies dipped in saltwater
flat, dry cracker-like bread called matzah
bitter herbs, often horseradish (without additives) and romaine lettuce, dipped into charoset (a paste of nuts, apples, pears and wine)
Please plan to eat dinner before or after this event!
**Childcare will not be provided for this event.**
Doors will open at 6:30pm, and this event will begin promptly at 7pm. We highly recommend you arrive early in order to ensure we begin on time!

BEHOLD THE LAMB
God showed His greatest love for us by sending His Son into the world. Though faultless and blameless, Jesus gave His life to save us from our sin. Because of His sacrifice, we find salvation, freedom, and become part of God's family.
We hope you will join us this Easter as we celebrate the love, hope, and redemption Jesus offers.
